17 Feng Shui Tips For Your Home Inspection Office
You've heard me say it before, the little things add up. The use of Feng Shui "The Dragons Breath" in the office is just another example of incorporating small steps in the right direction. And I do mean direction. Entire volumes have been written about direction and placement of items to keep the auspicious energies present, accumulating and moving, with the negative energies kept at bay. Were not going to dwell too much on it here though. Just a few tips on your home inspection office setup for an auspicious beginning! The most ideal locations to situate your home inspection office is in the North side of the house - this is the Career sector. The next best direction is the Southwest as this is the Wealth sector. This is followed by the third best spot the Northeast direction which is the Skills & Talents sector and lastly the South direction which represents the Fame & Recognition sector. If possible try to locate your home office in one of those locations. The following are some general tips that are thought to bring prosperity to your home inspection business. - Always sit with a solid wall behind your back to ensure that you have support in your life. Never sit with a window behind you and your desk.
- A good fortune desk has the dimensions of: 60x35 inches by 33 inches tall. The executive chair should have armrests and a high back, approx 43 inches.
- The home inspectors office should have the fax machine, telephone, and computers in the southeast wealth sector, as this will attract more contacts.
- Position your desk to have a clear view of the door. This type of seating arrangement comes up frequently in other rooms of the house as the preferred placement. Something to do with being attacked from the back. If this isn't possible, hang a small mirror so you can easily view the door's reflection.
- Try not to put a shelf over your desk. Supposedly this symbolizes the burdens of the world crashing down on you at any moment.
- Can you walk completely around your desk in a full circle? Having your desk set up in this manner makes sure your workload does not cramp you. You need space to breathe!
- Do you have clutter in your office? Desktops should be kept tidy and clutter free. Try to keep what you're presently doing on your desktop and make sure you keep the IN & OUT tray off your desk.
- Don't place a cactus in your office as the needles of these plants are thought to create negative shar chi. Shar or sha chi is stagnant or harmful energy. However, plants are symbolically excellent for the office. They represent growth energy as in the upward movement of growth. The plant should be placed either in the east or southeast corner of the office and be healthy and lush.
- In your home inspection office, try not to have the main door opening into your desk as this causes you to be faced with unexpected situations to deal with. Also particularly bad - is placement of the desk where the door jams into it. Your prosperity will be always be blocked.
- If you place your desk in a room so that it is between two doors the chi (energy) will rush by and pass you by along with all of your good fortune. In other words the good energy walks in one door, right past you and out the back door!
- If you have your desk set at the top of a staircase the chi will roll down the stairs and cause you loss of opportunity and wealth. If you can't get around this, place a mirror above the front door looking in and facing the staircase.
- Try not to place large electric equipment, such as photocopy machine or microwave near to the main door. These are considered to be "hot" items that cause energy to dissipate. Heat causes the dispersal of good chi.
- The placement of any machines with a blade "cutting energy" next to the front door as it can cause staff and customers to be unpleasant and even possibly to back stab and fight each with other.
- An empty vase next to the front door is not favorable as the empty vessel sucks out good chi trying to enter your home inspection office. If you have a vase make sure it is full of flowers!
- If you have candles in your office, light any candlewicks to make sure they are burnt, even if you don't plan to light the candle. Unlit candles are bad feng shui as they represent the limitations of possibility.
- Install a fish tank or fishpond in the southwestern corner of your office. If this is not possible consider hanging a fish mobile. Fish invite wealth. I have a fish mobile hanging over my desk.
- To enhance your wealth and prosperity, position your company logo in the southeastern area, the Southern area or the northern area of your home office.
